Campers learn about horse behavior, care, equipment and riding at the walk, trot and canter. House Mountain Farm's enthusiastic staff offer a friendly and casual environment to introduce kids to life at the barn and the joy of riding. Each week ends with
an adventurous ride through the farm's pastures and wooded trails.
The farm is a year round horse boarding, training and breeding facility.
There are several different types and breeds of horses, from big
to small. The lessons are lead by Liz Green, a Certified Riding Instructor, who currently teaches the adult non-credit classes for
the University of Tennessee.
